About Me

Ryan Stacy Web DeveloperMy name is Ryan and I am part jock and 100% nerd who loves to code. I was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas where I taught myself html and wrote my first site on GeoCities in the 6th grade. I practiced martial arts and wrestled in high school. I left for the Marine Corps a month after graduating high school and became a Military Police Officer and an award-winning dog handler. I was stationed in Okinawa, Japan and Miramar, California and carried out several Secret Service missions during my enlistment. After separating from the Marine Corps I used my GI Bill to attend local community colleges in San Diego and obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management from Ashford University in 2012. A year after graduating, I rediscovered my love for coding and went back to school for a certificate in web development at University of California San Diego Extension. I immediately begin doing freelance work and built several custom responsive sites which I offer continued maintenance on. I began working at Ceatus Media Group as a Web Developer in 2015 and just got promoted to Web Development Manager in April. I build and maintain responsive WordPress themes, ensure sites are optimized, and complete site migrations and custom web modifications. When I’m not coding I can be found camping all over Southern California with my family, training and working with my dog, working on my Subaru STI, or playing video games like Fallout, Civilization, and Grand Theft Auto. I look forward to getting to know you as well.
